Solicitation For Manufacturing Industry Consultants
Description of required services
Consulting services to supplement OMEP's efforts in providing assistance to small and medium-sized Oregon manufacturing companies. Desired services include quality systems, new product development, marketing research, inventory management, lean manufacturing, ergonomics, factory layout, among others.
Qualifications
Respondents must have experience providing consulting services in their area of expertise. OMEP is looking for individuals or companies with "senior-level" subject matter expertise with the ability to manage consulting engagements with small and medium-sized manufacturers.
Response requirements:
- A letter of interest accompanied by a description of services to be provided.
- A list of recent clients with descriptions of the specific engagements including time, subject material, outcomes, and other relevant matters.
- At least three client references.
- Pricing information.
Selection
Responses will be evaluated to determine the optimum combination of price, quality, life cycle costing, consulting experience, and demonstrated ability to deliver service to OMEP's target audience. Interviews with candidate individuals or companies may or may not be required. Selected respondents will be added to the approved list of Third Party Consultants and may be offered contracts from time to time on the basis of their ability to provide OMEP with needed services.
