You’re invited to join this interactive workshop to define a path for continuous improvement of purchasing at your manufacturing company. With over 20 years of experience at a variety of manufacturing companies, Roger Jensen will draw on his expertise to guide you through the steps to develop and execute a supply chain strategy that will fuel growth and increase profitability for your company. This practical workshop will include the tools you need to come away with an actionable lean purchasing plan. The workshop is designed to address the purchasing needs of small and mid-sized manufacturers.
What You Will Learn:
- Determine and evaluate your company’s opportunities for growth.
- Craft a vision for supply chain improvement and build an actionable supply chain strategy.
- Identify opportunities to improve your Supply Chain team’s effectiveness.
- Establish objectives to move you from current toward future state.
These two half day sessions will be held at OMEP from 8:30am to noon. Breakfast will be provided.
Feb. 23 – Day 1: Discover Opportunities for Continuous Improvement in Purchasing
Identify your current state – where is your company’s Purchasing and Materials management execution with respect to leading practices? What are your specific opportunities for improvement? What are the benefits of building a supply chain strategy to bridge the gaps?
March 3 – Day 2: Build Your Purchasing Strategy
To move your supply chain forward, you will need a vision and strategy. Identify opportunities in lean purchasing and materials methodologies to create the bandwidth you need to execute your supply chain strategy. Identify your desired future state and develop an action plan to begin the journey towards profit and growth.
