Each year over 250 manufacturers gather for the Oregon Manufacturers’ Summit in Salem Oregon. This year’s event is a wee, away! If you haven’t signed up yet, here are a few great reasons you should consider attending.
- Learn about the Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center (OMIC) in Scappoose. This really is a game changer for Oregon. It will be the only center of it’s kind in the United States. Don’t miss the inspiring video and discussion from AMRC founder Adrian Allen, as well as a deeper dive into Oregon’s center from William (Bill) Gerry of The Boeing Company, as well as champion Senator Betsy Johnson.
- Manufacturers are driving the creation of our agenda and discussion. We built 2017’s agenda based on feedback from past years. This means none of the breakout sessions will be panels. Sessions are now longer, so you can go into more depth and get actionable takeaways for your company.
- For the first time ever, attendees get to ask specific questions of manufacturing experts ahead of time. Based on your questions, we will match you with a session leaders and other expert so you can talk in person at the intentional networking portion of the event.
- Our past attendees are manufacturers of all sizes and industry sectors from around the state. Take a look at what Cheryl Collins of Ninkasi Brewing had to say:
The Oregon Manufacturers Summit is a great opportunity to connect with others in the field and learn about creative solutions to common problems. The breakout sessions last year were especially helpful because the smaller groups allowed for a more in-depth discussion about specific topics, which led to a lot of sharing of best practices. The Oregon Manufacturers Summit aims to provide maximum value to the attendees, and delivers on that promise.
