Lean Fundamentals – Mid Willamette Valley
September 21, 2017 @ 10:00 am
Principles of Lean Enterprise
This half-day class introduces employees to principles underlying the Lean Enterprise with emphasis on differentiating between value add and non-value add activities, as well as the identification and elimination of waste in a value stream.
Tools of Lean: A Deeper Dive
This course focuses on some of the more predominantly used tools for smaller manufacturers in a variety of environments (high/low mix, high/low volume).
This session will assist your company in identifying the greatest opportunities while avoiding the pitfall of sub-optimization of one area, process or department. Participants will learn to create both ‘current state’ and ‘future state’ value stream maps through hands-on experience and identification of improvement projects.
Topics covered in this session include: Human performance management, effective leadership behaviors, creating and sustaining a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and sustaining high performance.
Active Learning Sessions: We will conduct 4 half-day classroom sessions and provide lunch.
Location: Viper NW – Albany, OR 244 SE 13th Ave, Albany, OR 97322
On-Site Company Check-Ins: After the 2nd and 4th sessions, companies with 3 or more registrants will receive an on-site visit from an OMEP consultant for lean implementation guidance.
Thank you so much for the Lean Fundamentals training you provided me and my staff. I have many years of continuous improvement methodology but haven’t been strong trainer of others. Your classes really helped my staff take the concepts and translate them into practical “marching orders” – 2016 Attendee
