Attend this Master Class with Urmaze Naterwalla, Research Operations Officer at OMIC R&D.

Tool & Holder Balancing

This class is designed for machinists, applied engineers and others interested in machining related tool and holder balancing. The class is most beneficial for those with an understanding of Speeds & Feeds, and high-level recognition of cutting tools and holder offerings as covered in Tool Wear fundamentals class offered at OMIC R&D in August.

You will learn critical insights related to:
  • Theory of Balancing and Unbalance
  • Best practices of Tool & Holder Balancing
  • When not to Balance
  • Includes a live balancing demonstration!

    There will be live demonstrations on the use of a HAIMER balancing machine, and of an Unbalanced vs. Balanced tool in cut.
